In a stunning move, the University of Phoenix has begun wiping student debt

In response to a mammoth settlement after being brought to court by the FTC. This evening I noticed a news story online that claimed that UoP had begun wiping student debt for students enrolled basically from 2012 up until about 2 years and some change ago.

On a gut feeling, I checked my old student account to discover that every dime I’ve ever owed to the University of Phoenix is gone. They’ve cancelled any and everything I owe them as part of the settlement owed.

VIEW THE FTC NOTICE HERE.

My nightmare with that school is over. If you attended the school in ant fashion between the spring of 2012 until about the fall of 2017 I’d advise you to check your accounts.
