The 14-year-old suspect believed to be responsible for his part in the murder of Tessa Majors has fled a meetup with police and is on the run. According to police in Harlem and the New York Post, the manhunt is ongoing as of this writing. Residents in the are advised to be on high alert — it is unknown whether or not if the teen was or has since become armed.
The Post reports that the 14-year-old teen was originally released earlier this week after being questioned, but police had since asked him back for further questioning.
This page will be updated as we learn more. Police now believe that it was indeed the 14-year-old who stabbed Majors to death.
