This is why we fired our would-be fashion influencer

Imani2For as long as we can remember — we’ve never worked with other influencers of any kind. The horror stories; stories of theft, lies, deceit and everything in between kept us far away from anything and anyone related to that.   But earlier this year, we opened our doors to a woman named Imani Troy (aka Niecy who is still in our database as of this writing.)

Troy was scheduled to become our fashion influencer but never showed up to the job.   Instead, she walked off with a company-provided laptop and then proceeded to make up stories about us and our friends to make it appear as if we did her wrong.  This is untrue.  We have a signed a contract from this “influencer” along with government-issued ID’s; addresses, and current contact information.

This matter is being publicly addressed only after Imani Troy took it herself public with the disinformation campaign against us.  We are willing to drop all charges/pending civil suits against her upon return of the device. We would like to wash our hands of her for good.

We do not want to put a young black girl behind bars in any kind of way. Alike many other situations, we go to great lengths to avoid that.

We’ve monitored the situation over the course of the past 2 months and found that Troy has told several malicious stories/lies about us. As a result, we are seeking full prosecution under the law and the powers granted to us by her legally binding contract in which she signed.

We fired Troy (and in accordance with our Terms of Service we are allowed to say this) because of theft of property and professional negligence.   We are currently in the process of seeking formal assistance in having her sued/and arrested for the property in question.
