In a strange turn of events, it has been reveald that last year Eminem was secretly under investigation by the Secret Service. But what is causing discussion in the case is the fact that the case was brought on by a reported complaint made by none other than TMZ.
Buzzfeed News got their hands on the complaint which apparently was very real. I want to know if your agency is investigating Eminem for his threatening lyrics about First daughter Ivanka Trump,” the employee wrote in the complaint (although they weren’t identified.)
The investigation apparently came to an abrupt end in Jan 2018 after investigators processed background checks on Eminem. The site notes that they did visit him at home, where, ageents were caught singing along to the song in question.
