Johnson & Johnson formally recalls their baby powder

American maker Johnson & Johnson announced on Friday that the ecompany is recalling their baby powder after they found traces of asbestos.  The discovery reportedly came in the midst of a Food & Drug Administration investigation that found the contaminent in at least one bottle.

“The FDA’s testing on prior occasions, and as recently as last month, found no asbestos,” said spokesman Ernie Knewitz per CNN.   As of this evening, it appears that they’ve released the lot number for the recall and refunds are available on their website.  We’ve identified the lot number as 22-ounce bottles is #22318RB.
