Felon Felicity Huffman released from prison early

Felicity Huffman, the very felon who now epitomizes white privilege, is free from prison days early from her two week sentence on federal charges. According to California officials, DOJ regulations state that if someone’s release date falls on a weekend or a federal holiday — they can be released the weekday preceding that particular day.

Huffman kept a relatively low profile after her release which was assisted by her husband William H. Macy.   According to prison records, she got out early because they ended up counting her for time already served following her initial arrest in March.
