In what may not exactly be shocking news a Republican Senator is out of a job this week. In the midst of numerous Republicans already having left their posts in Washington, this certainly won’t sit well with President Trump. According to Pennsylvania authorities, State Senator Michael Folmer was arrested on Wednesday after an apparent upload he did to the internet confirmed he had been accessing child porn.
Former allegedly uploaded compromising photographs of children to Tumblr.com, a popular social networking site known for unusual posts.
There an investigation was launched after security features on the site reportedly pegged the photographs as illegal, whereas that later led to the involvement of authorities in Lebanon County. According to Pennlive, Folmer admitted to federal agents that he had “been going through some personal problems” and had received child porn through his Tumblr account.
