Felicity Huffman sentenced to 2 weeks in prison for defrauding college admissions officers

It’s official. For her role in the nationwide Varsity Blue scandal, Felicity Huffman, has been sentenced to 14 days in prison for defrauding her way her daughters’ attempt to get into college. According to documents posted online, Huffman will serve 250 hours of community service; pay a $30k fine, and serve 14 days in jail for paying $15,000 to an admissions fraudster to alter her daughters’ SAT test scores.

Huffman is the latest parent to be charged and arraigned in the wide-ranging college admissions scandal. Earlier this year, it came to light that Huffman and several of her Hollywood friends had paid a known con-artist to unlawfully alter their children’s’ SAT scores to get them into elite schools.

One of the other most prominent faces, Lori Loughlin, is still waiting to be arraigned and faces up to 40 years in prison.
