Boris Johnson won’t give up power if Brexit deal fails: Report

Trouble is certainly brewing in London as news of Boris Johnson ‘s further refusal to accept defeat echoes throughout the United Kingdom. Over the weekend, Johnson made it clear that he will not step down as Prime Minister even if his proposed Brexit-exit fails on 31 October.

The problem with Johnson ‘s almost overbearing cockiness about Brexit is the fact that Parliament passed a law that forces him to ask Brussels for an extension if no lawful deal is passed. It is illegal for Johnson to think otherwise. That deadline that would force Johnson to lawfully ask for an extension is coming: 17 October.

“People can feel that this country is approaching an important moment of choice and we have to get on and we have to deliver Brexit on October the 31st … I’m going to get on and do it,” he told BBC television.
