Death Row Records — the legendary and rather storied record imprint now has an unlikely relationship with the likes of My Little Pony. According to Complex, Hasbro Toy Company announced over the weekend that their purchase of the troubled record label has gone through.

According to financial disclosures, it appears that Death Row Records reportedly sold itself along with its parent company for $4b. This comes about 6-7 years after the record company had declared bankruptcy and sold itself previously for $280m.

“The acquisition of eOne adds beloved story-led global family brands that deliver strong operating returns to Hasbro’s portfolio and provides a pipeline of new brand creation driven by family-oriented storytelling,” Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner said in a statement
