Reports: House Democrats convening to “further” investigate removing Donald Trump from office

U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler on Friday said the committee is considering “all remedies” including recommendation of “articles of impeachment” in the wake of Mueller’s testimony on his investigation into the Trump 2016 election.

House Democrats and their swathes of lawyers spent their Friday in federal court in today’s political development of the day. According to reports — House Democrats have turned to federal court to unseal the grand jury information in the case against Trump and Russia’s alleged meddling (via the special counsels’ report).

Since Mueller have his consequentially confusing testimony to the House earlier this week, the number of powerful Democrats demanding articles of impeachment against Trump has grown to 100. This additionally has triggered Nancy Pelosi to notably declare that she isn’t trying to impede on any of the potential articles of impeachment.

Dems feel that obtaining the top-secret grand jury information held within the case itself, will allow each of them to make “informed decisions” about whether to order the removal of Donald Trump from office.

“Because Department of Justice policies will not allow prosecution of a sitting president, the United States House of Representatives is the only institution of the federal government that can now hold President Trump accountable for these actions,” Nadler, a New York Democrat, said at a news conference Friday, quoting from the court filing in advance of its filing. 

It is worth equally noting that Nadler has the support of Nancy Pelosi with this move and the statement he released during the press conference.
