The indictments against R. Kelly are as bad as they can possibly fucking get. Kelly, as we reported yesterday, was arrested by federal authorities while walking his dog in Chicago. The news has shaken the music community — but most of all brought a sense of justice to others around the country.
R. Kelly per indictments is now accused of running an underage sex ring; assaulting a young woman, paying others off, and raping another four times on camera. This quite literally means that Kelly is now one of the most prolific serial abusers in modern memory, something, he has consistently denied.
The federal grand jury document also states that leading up to his 2008 conviction-and-then-overturned-conviction Kelly allegedly raped a young woman four times on camera. But then turned around and handsomely paid off her family with money and gifts to force them quiet.
Kelly himself has not commented on the matter, although, legal reps for Kelly did say this: ‘The conduct alleged appears to largely be the same as the conduct previously alleged against Mr. Kelly in his current state indictment and his former state charges that he was acquitted of.’
