Mail Bombing Suspect: Fox News, Trump radicalised me

In eyebrow raising statements by the suspect responsible for the 2018 mail bombings across America, he, has come forth via legal representation with new claims in his case to prevent long-term prison time. In statements filed this week, attorneys for Cesar Altieri Sayoc, 57, made the claims and additionally claimed something else certain to get peoples’ attention.

The document (filed Monday) goes on to claim that Cesar suffers from ” “cognitive limitations and mental illness”  and that he believed prominent Democrats (as a result) were out to get him; other Trump supporters, and the world as a whole.

But it gets far more interesting. In the same document, the following statement is attracting plenty of attention online. Cesar ‘s attorneys then reportedly claimed that it was Trump and Fox News who further fuelled his alleged “limitations” because he believed everything the President and Fox News said.

“He then decided to act out — to send a message, to try to intimidate and scare Trump’s perceived enemies,” his attorneys wrote in the memo. “After months suffering from these delusional beliefs and while using large doses of steroids, his heightened paranoia and anger pushed him to commit these offenses.”

In March, Cesar pleaded guilty to 65 felony charges including attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.

News reports indicate and partially backed up that claim, mostly, because images of his apparent live-in van surfaced online. The van has long appeared to be covered in Pro-Trump conspiracy type stuff, something Cesar told his attorneys only came after he religiously began watching Fox News.
