“It was tough stuff, but we’re humanitarians”

GovernmentSo says troubled Vice President Mike Pence who has now claimed that conditions at several border facilities are of the cushy kind and the humanitarian way.  According to Buzzfeed News, Pennce visited two border facilities in Texas as the weekend kicked off — but his accounts of the conditions don’t quite match that of a pool reporter who was on scene.

Pence’s visit came as temps hit 99 degrees and higher on Friday in McAllen Texas.

Here’s where the disinformation began and why VP  Pence should be directly ashamed of calling himself a Christian and witnessing this all at the same time.    Pool reporters nnoted in several tweets that “hundreds of men were caged together; in sweltering connditions, without food and or even toothbrushes”.

In “the smell was horrendous” some officers “were even wearing face masks to help with the smell”.   Buzzfeed also reports that multiple men in the cages were heard shouting “No Agua” (No water) in Spanish; “Cuarenta dias, cuarenta dias” or “40 days” in Spanish, and also pleading for food.

It appears that at least some of the migrants have gone up to 40 days without showering and other basic essentials as they remain robbed of their basic decencies at the hands of the American government.

The Vice Presidents’ office also reportedly admitted in a statement that it instructed the border facility in question not to clean itself up, as if this situation can be used as some sort of politial ploy to make a case for the man-made crisis at the border.

This comes on the heels of a DHS Inspector Generals report that has painted a terrifying picture for these people.  Meanwhile, Donald Trump thinks they’re living better than they would have in their home countries.
