FLORIDA — In what perhaps would be the least nicest state we’d suspect in America, a Florida couple is in the news this evening after news of their wedding gift idea went viral. According to reports, Kelli Cameron, a first grade teacher and now hubby Matt Cameron recently found themselves prepared to get married and the joys that come with it,
But their stunning act of kindness is what earned them a spot in the news. Local news reports say that both Mr & Mrs Cameron agreed that accepting actual wedding gifts for their wedding was just out of the question because they already had everything they needed.
As a result — they came up with the marvel idea to ask guests (according to description cards of each child) to donate school supplies and the like to local children in need. It’s heartwarming that per reports, more than 70 guests brought backpacks loaded with supplies; clothes, uniforms and more for a bunch of kids.
The couple gave the donations to a nearby Tampa school.
