With Climate Change becoming more and more of a topic everyday, the modern person has definitely pondered about our earth a time or two recently. In a new article at National Geographic, the magazine and several researchers they witnessed at a recent panel laid out the case that artificial intelligence may be able to help us fight climate change.

At the core of the discussion, sits the idea through the knowledge in a research paper, that 13 focal points of AI could help with climate change. Those points are often including the idea that these are the areas where such technology should be used.

Researchers from this essay want to use GANS on peoples’ homes throughout parts of the world. GANS are actually a form of artificial intelligence, one, that helps researchers show homeowners what their homes would look like after major damage.

Critics especially those from the essay in question argue solely that things like AI would “dramatically assist in successfully predicting future major weather events”
