Presidential chaos; Hong Kong ‘s citizen backlash, and more

Apparently 19 Presidential candidates didn’t get the memo that they probably shouldn’t have all shown up at the same time at their event. Cedar Rapids looked more like a gridlocked New York rather than the typical town in which it usually is.

Hong Kong is fighting to keep itself separate from China. Last week — it emerged that China is looking to gain the ability to extradite citizens from Hong Kong to China (that sounded pretty redundant but hey). According to reports, China, wants to be able to man-handle suspects in any way they choose and want to do so from China itself. Hundreds of thousands of people gathered throughout the week/weekend to protest.

A New York woman by the name of Miss Polanco, who was also transgender, was found dead in Rikers Island Prison on Monday. Anti-prison advocates are now moving harder than ever before to shut that crazy place down for good.
