Trump wants to undo term limits, be given a 6-year term

Donald Trump apparently forgot that the constitution actually reads that “A President shall serve his term in four years”.  That quite literally has always meant that a President of the United States must only serve two terms both equal to two years in length.

But on social media this morning, Donald Trump retweeted apparent calls for an extension of his term.  In fact,  so-called Trump supporters (whether or not these are actually real people remains up for debate)  demanded that Trump be given “an exception and two additional years as reparations for his first two years stolen”).

The idea has pretty much shocked social media, both not-literally and literally.    The U.S Constitution has always instilled that very rule in the White House — and such extensions have actually never existed.

Trump ‘s (at least one of his responses anyway) seem to be garnering attention. On Twitter..

‘After spending more than $35,000,000 over a two year period, interviewing 500 people, using 18 Trump Hating Angry Democrats & 49 FBI Agents – all culminating in a more than 400 page Report showing NO COLLUSION – why would the Democrats in Congress now need Robert Mueller to testify?

‘Are they looking for a redo because they hated seeing the strong NO COLLUSION conclusion? There was no crime, except on the other side (incredibly not covered in the Report), and NO OBSTRUCTION.

Meanwhile,  Robert Mueller is reportedly set to testify before House officials on 15 May.
