In what may just be one of the most shocking fucking stories we’ve ever seen — one “Dorm Dad” is making headlines and for all of the wrong reasons. The Cut takes a deep-dive into one Manhattan father who by all means sounds like something straight out of a creepy Lifetime movie involving some psycho white dude after his ex-wife’s kids.
Here’s the creepy part. “Larry” as he was known to the group of 8 or so young girls he met while moving into his daughter’s room had become all part of a psychologically manipulating rouse that ended in nearly every single one of them disappearing.
One could say that their nightmare began when the girls and other students were allegedly tricked into moving out of their dorms into Larry’s posh home on E 93rd Street in Manhattan.
It all began in September 2010. A group of 8-9 young women at Sarah Lawrence College found themselves abruptly met by a peer’s Dad, after, an odd determination was made that he would move in with them. What possibly sounded like a “good thing” and having a mentor (“around”) actually turned out to be a sexually-manipulative nightmare.
In fact after multiple people (some boys and some girls) reported that they were tricked and or frauded into paying Larry tens of thousands of dollars — but not before the girls were coaxed into threesomes; having sex with each other, and sometimes even while Larry joined in.
And then 2013 happened. Per The Cut, one of the male students involved disappeared without a trace. His parents claim in documents that they forked over $200,000 in alleged ransoms to Larry, however, they have not seen or heard from their son since.
It’s 2019. Police allegedly told most of the parents involved that because their children are over the age of 18 — that they cannot do much of anything because they are adults.
