CAN HE MAKE IT AS PRIME MINISTER? That is the question making its rounds among the U.K as it has emerged that Johnson has high hopes. According to reports, Boris Johnson has already begun pitching high level political supporters and groups in hopes of “securing a Brexit deal”.
A deal that Boris apparently hopes will help propel him to 10 Downing Street, something, that for years he has had high aspirations for. It’s safe to say that with an end-of-October deadline looming for a deal, even a Premiership led by Johnson, likely wouldn’t be able to secure the necessary deals to stop a catastrophic moment in British history.
“A new leader will have the opportunity to do things differently and have the momentum of a new administration,” Mr. Johnson said on Friday, according to Reuters.
The results of the general election are due out later today.
