Georgia man kidnaps underage girl for a year, gets no prison time

In one of the most shocking cases we’ve seen in a while, a Georgia man is pretty much walking free this week after a case involving a missing girl came to an end. According to local news reports, Michael Wyslolovski kidnapped a then 15-year-old girl (who we can’t legally name) after having met her in an online forum during late 2015 early 2016.

Things changed in May 2016 when he convinced the girl to skip town and meet up with him eventually turning to live with him. In the state of Georgia the age of consent is sixteen.

Which per reports is what appears to be partially the cause for his almost non-existent sentence. After he reportedly convinced the girl to run away from home, he, eventually turned nasty in residence.

Court documents revealed severe abuse; malnourishment, and the fact he notoriously kept her in a dog cage. He will serve 10 years probation and absolutely no prison time.
