Morehouse is changing its policies to allow transgender men: Report

ATLANTA, GEORGIA — When Morehouse College announced that it was lifting a partial impasse on student-admission policies, uh, the school probably didn’t expect to get hit with a particularly luke-warm response. On Sunday, the Office of Admissions declared that beginning next year the school will begin admitting trans-men.

Alas, but many have already pointed out that the school still refuses to accept trans-women. We’ve reached out to Morehouse’s admissions office inquiring about the obvious hypocrisy. Non-conforming; trans-men, and those in between will apparently be given a chance but trans-women will not.

This policy is about as jack-ass backwards as it gets. The antiquated idea that anyone other than a male is good enough to get into Morehouse — is so 75 years ago. Also the reported ignorance towards gender-femmes; femmes, and those that may identify as a woman is rife.

The school reiterated its policies in pressers on Sunday following questions. If you’re wondering Morehouse College is literally the only-all-male HBCU college still in America.
