If AMAZON INC has anything to say about the way we wait for our Amazon packages, you could soon begin to get your packages literally within hours. According to Amazon officials, AMAZON is preparing to offer its Prime Members free shipping (that will literally get you your package within 24 hours).
Amazon confirmed on Friday per multiple reports that the company is investing upwards of $800m to improve its prime member offerings (mostly on the shipping front). In recent weeks, Amazon has sought to keep a leg up over companies like Wal-Mart and Target — as offerings for delivery and shipping preferences have greatly evolved.
