Turns out, your tax refund is actually smaller this year

Despite many false promises from Donald Trump and his campaign numerous times. As the Washington Post lays out, refunds are down about 8% from last year.

Here are the numbers last year, the average refund was about $2,035.50. This year? The refund is about $1,850.00. Of course people are right to wonder where that so-called “$4,000 raise” was coming from, most of which, people are now discovering that they won’t actually see.

The short answer? As numerous reports have pointed out already, uh, it appears most Americans are getting their actual tax burden with how much they may get back.
