Black History: Michelle Obama

Modern peeps certainly know this fine woman. Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is an African-American lawyer; writer, and university administrator that would find herself as the First African American woman ever to serve as First Lady of the United States.

Michelle Robinson was born 17 January 1964 in Chicago Illinois.

  • Obama graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School
  • She is married to the 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama.
  • Before serving as First Lady, she, served as top counsel in the prominent law firm Sidley Austin.
  • She married Barack Obama in 1992, and, they have two daughters together.
