Uber is down around the world

Uber appears to be down due to their server crashing. Uber has not yet acknowledged the truth behind their crash. The news comes just 24 hours after they filed a confidential IPO in New York City

And people are mad as hell. The Daily News has confirmed that in more than 100 countries right now, Uber and Ubereats, is down entirely.

The crash reportedly happened earlier today after millions of users reported apparent failures in getting rides; and, food being delivered. Riders on social media reported that rides were being stopped and food deliveries never made it to their residence.

Uber is currently on social media giving bland copied responses from their customer service database. Calls into their direct service line go unanswered; ignored, and often hung up on.

Updates:

The crash appears to have happened sometime around noon.

As of 7:27 pm, Uber is down in more than 100 countries according to multiple tech blogs and services that monitor the companies uptime.

Drivers are unable to physically see riders or food orders. This is entirely Uber’s fault. Please do not rate your driver bad, they, cannot see delivery addresses or your name.

Some riders have reported that they’ve been booted from their ride midway, because, their drivers app disappears.

Thousands have reported food not being delivered. We would advise at this time if possible to go pick it up yourself, and then, call Uber tomorrow morning for a refund. Get receipt from store to prove you picked it up.

Uber refuses to confirm or deny that their servers are offline.

Both apps went down simultaneously this afternoon. The cause of the server crash is currently unknown. It is believed that Uber initially claimed that they were updating their systems. But they have since back peddled on that claim.

Uber filed a confidential IPO last night in New York City, investors are spooked at the crash.
