Looks like the TODAY show is down one very popular daytime host. According to reports, Kathie Lee Gifford has announced that she is set to depart the show — after 11 long years with the network. Gifford famously joined NBC in 2008 to host the fourth hour of the TODAY show, eventually, picked Hoda Kotb to help co-host the show. The two have successfully co-hosted the show together since 2008.
I have something to share with everybody. It’s bittersweet as these things always are, but I have been here almost 11 years. Thought I would stay one year. Something happened along the way and fell in love with a beautiful Egyptian goddess and when it’s our 11th anniversary I will be leaving the “Today” show,’ said Gifford
