According to Lifetime, and multiple blogs, R. Kelly has been up to some pretty frisky business — in a desperate bid to stop his ex wife’s premiere in NYC. On Wednesday, Lifetime kicked into PR gear so that the premiere of Surviving R.Kelly could take place.
But it didn’t go down without a few problems. Officials say that they received multiple fake reports of gunshots, and, even possession of guns on the premises of the premiere.
This is where it gets interesting. Multiple blogs are reporting that it is widely believed that Kelly called them in himself — in a bid to stop the premiere because he “feared the world would find out the truth”.
Reps for Kelly refused to comment when contacted by The Fix, but, we are certainly following this story.
