Mexico just agreed to a significant change on migrants

And some certainly are going to find the change rather problematic. According to Mexican government officials, Mexico, has agreed to hold migrants back from entering America — at least until their asylum applications are completed. The Department of Homeland Security, uh, made the announcement on Thursday.

Via The Associated Press, which more more on the sudden change of heart on behalf of Mexico.

The announcement comes on the heels of damage control by. Kierstjen Nielsen, who, oversaw and likely knows more than she is willing to admit about the death of a young Guatamalan girl. Reports indicate that the move, which the US claims is “historic”, is actually only temporary by Mexico. It is the first time, in fact ever, that Mexico has allowed migrants from other countries to stay within its borders.

The move has particularly been called “Mexico’s Remain” which would assist people in Mexico seeking access to the other side of the border — through carefully created and funded programs. Meanwhile, Nielsen was set to be questioned over the death of the girl, however, appears to have dodged them all together.
