On the 19th of this month, uh, two of our phones were stolen in the AMC Times Square location out of Theater 18. They were swiftly stolen out from under us, and, the thieves ran off to Brooklyn with them in the Flatbush neighborhood near Lincoln Place and Pacific Street. We are prepared to offer a minor cash reward for their return.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of two phones particularly a Rose Gold iPhone XS Max (that belongs to our Editor in Chief) and a cracked Black iPhone 7 Plus that belongs to one of our other editors is asked to please call us immediately or text us at 646-919-1493.
The devices were stolen out of Theater 18 in the IMAX one around 5:15 pm yesterday. They were pinged in Brooklyn near Pacific Street 12 minutes later. Somehow the thief or thieve(s) managed to get clear into Brooklyn within minutes. We have tracked them both by Find my iPhone and the company provided tracking device installed on the phone. It is virtually impossible to remove the tracking device or the activation lock without Sultan Khane himself.
To the person that stole the phones from our editors. We are prepared to drop the charges against you if you return our devices. The NYPD has your addresses and is watching you move with our phones. The activation locks have been turned on, which, prevent you from getting into the phones. We are prepared to file Grand Larceny charges against you which carry up to 4 years or more in prison for theft of devices over a certain amount. But upon the return of the devices, we, are ready and willing to drop all charges.
But if the authorities get to you first, we, have no power at that point. We are willing to work with you, you, just have to work with us.
