Dolce & Gabanna formally banned in China

And that’s mostly because of an extremely racially insensitive ad that has sparked intense international backlash. In the ad, uh,   Dolce & Gabanna spotted an Asian model being forced to eat Italian food with chop-sticks….

While apparently well intended by the fashion brand, uh,  it was not well received by others.  Most, perhaps, cited the ad for its failed appropriation of orientalism while others mentioned that it was just down-right a bad representation of China.

Now, the company has taken to social media to apologise for their scandalous video (in which they claimed was an apparent O.D to the awesomeness that is China).
