A baffling terror in Yemen: Save The Children

Yemen is probably one of the world’s most under-served and often misunderstood countries in the world. Mostly, because. Saudi Arabia and other countries have pummeled the territory with war since about 2015 —  and nobody really knows just how bad people are actually hurt.

Save The Children (link) says that some 85,000 children have reportedly died since the war began in 2015.   The organization notes in its alarming report that the deaths appear to have been partially or largely caused by the idea of famine; hunger, and extreme poverty at the hands of governments involved in the war.

”It’s alarming because the same people doing it have the power to stop it” says the organization.
