The journal, Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, say that the cannabis pollen and the smoke produced when one is smoking causes allergies in some people. Some of the symptoms of allergy from cannabis are the same as of those of other plants such as sneezing, itchy eyes, and coughing.

Most people think that cannabis or marijuana is used for smoking only and not for any other use. This is wrong. It has many uses. It can be used to make paper, ropes, drugs that can cure diseases among others. In fact, being smoked is the least of its uses. Actually, for many years now, people have used it for seed oils and medical treatment such as relieving pain and cure against inflammation.

According to USA TODAY, federal officials are moving Cannabis from being classified as a drug like heroin to be classified as drugs such as morphine and oxycodone. There is one advantage that comes with the reclassification. It would make it a whole lot easier for the scientists or researchers to work with or engineer the plant.

Studies show that cannabis has more negative effects, especially on human health compared to positive effects. Some of the negative effects include reproductive issues, reduced brain function, testicular cancer, acute memory loss, psychosis, changes in human DNA among others. To be on the safe side, it’s recommended that you do not to smoke or use cannabis.

From people getting allergic to cannabis to the drug being rescheduled or re-classified, these are the facts that most people probably didn’t know about. It is not just for smoking but instead, it has a wide range of uses ranging from making ropes and paper, to actually being a drug that can cure diseases. Marijuana has more than 120 compounds. All these compounds have varied properties. Some of the effects of smoking cannabis include increased appetite, lightheadedness and having a relaxation feeling. These mostly, are the reasons why people smoke weed, to get ‘high’ as they call it.
