WASHINGTON — 9 years after the last “rate hike” (think Myspace era)  Janet Yellen,  has officially raised the rates in America — and people are curious about it.  As NBC rounded up, not everybody is to keen to the raise with some preparing for a news conference starring Yellen to get their questions answered.

According to the feds, Yellen reportedly raised the rates a modest 0.25%.  The last raise of such (well, of any kind) was actually in 2006.   Investors haven’t much responded to the raise yet, however, Dow remained 100 points in the black as of this writing.
