Attention American readers: There is currently a massive 132,000 lb meat recall out of Colorado due to the presence of E-Coli in dozens of lbs of the product. The USDA confirmed on Thursday that meat from Cargill Solutions apparently contained much of the virus, where, at least one person has already died. At least 17 others have been widely sickened.
Officials confirmed to numerous outlets that this is indeed the second recall for Cargill in a matter of months. During the first, Publix Supermarket announced that it would be pulling Cargill meats from all of its shelves due to a previous infection found in the meat.
Officials are also warning that people need to look into their freezers, and, determine if any of their other meats are indeed affected by the recall.
