Rain Dove explains turning in those texts about Asia Argento

And it looks like he and girlfriend Rose McGowan had plenty good reason to do so.  In what is now the original New York Times report that blew the story open,  Dove,  admits that he was indeed the one who eventually turned in the texts that would sink Argento ‘s career.

Now, according to Uproxx,   Argento is facing even more problems.    Reports indicate that prosecutors in California are seeking to  bring potential charges against Argento  under state law.  In California, it, no matter the time period, is still a crime for someone  Argento ‘s age to have slept with someone under age (She was 37 at the time of the sexual assault..).

The original text messages can be seen on TMZ, which, also published the now infamous photograph of Argento in bed with the then underage Jimmy Bennett (a feat she originally denied).

“I spoke to [Argento] after the texts got leaked, and she was convinced Rose and I had leaked the text messages, but of course, in fact, we did not. I told her that, ‘I have to be honest with you, I brought them to the police.’ She said that I’m a monster. I just told her that in order for there to be justice, there has to be truth, and that justice will find its way, but you have to have truth on the table, and she was really angry at that.”
