Obama made an error during his Oval Office Address

One that surprisingly, well, never mind.  During his Oval Office Address, Obama failed to correctly discuss how Tashfeen Malik actually entered the United States.  The problem?  Malik entered America through a “fiance visa” and not the particular type of visa noted by Obama during his speech.

“I’ve ordered the departments of State and Homeland Security to review the visa waiver program under which the female terrorist in San Bernardino originally came to this country,” he said, perPolitico. The State Department confirmed the mistake has since been corrected.

As any international traveler and reveler knows, the U.S “VISA waiver program” is a program that a total of 38 countries participate in.  If you’ve lived; resided or stayed in one of the 38 you can enter the U.S for up to 90 days without a necessary VISA. Malik, however, only lived in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia — which neither of the two are on the list of eligible countries.
