Here’s a word to the wise from the gods of the obvious: if your phone breaks, don’t drive your car into a Verizon store. One N.C man is learning that the hard way.
Charles Michael Hager, 74, apparently felt that his broken phone warranted driving his car through the glass-entrance of a Verizon store inside a popular upscale mall in Raleigh. Hager, uh, apparently didn’t know that his phone had insurance on it and could’ve simply walked in and had it swapped out.
The scene reportedly unfolded at North Hills Mall. Six clerks were in the store at the time of the incident, but thankfully, nobody was actually hurt.
