Suspected serial killer busted in Houston: Police

HOUSTON — Big developments in Houston this week as police confirmed to The Daily News that suspected serial killer Jose Gilberto Rodriguez has been captured.  Police say that Rodriguez had been suspected of at least 5 murders, but, only three of them were confirmed — apart from armed robberies.

While police wouldn’t confirm many other details, we, did learn the following about Rodriguez’s crimes.  Per police files,  he,  targeted victims between the ages of 22-60 and most of them were chosen reportedly at random.  He already has not one but TWO capital murder charges pending against him, whilst, a third is reportedly in the making. 

So, how’d he get caught? Harris County police say that  a civilian in  the Cypress area of town found a suspicious vehicle riding about and reported it to police. He was captured in all of 14 minutes after a bizarre police chase.
