The downfall of Heather Locklear has been well documented over the years. Alleged substance abuse; wild-child antics, several domestic violence problems, assaults, the list goes on. Locklear, as we reported yesterday, was admitted to the hospital after two arrests in less than two weeks.
Locklear’s downfall has been so many times, and, is common among who like her who are psychologically unable to handle opulent levels of wealth and fame. Even to this day despite her troubles, she has managed to maintain her status as a television icon.
Last Sunday, the former blonde bombshell was arrested for assaulting a police officer; two EMT workers, her parents, and an apparent staff member inside of her Thousand Oaks mansion. Fast forward to just two days ago, Locklear was reportedly home at the time in which she overdosed (again) on substances that have yet to be identified.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane. Locklear first began her career in Hollywood as a mega glamour girl on the hit-show Dynasty. Locklear then played Sammy Jo Carrington from 1981 to 1989 (which had then kickstarted her collaboration with legendary producer Aaron Spelling).
But, with her then newfound fame, came the ambition that every young actress desires but not everybody lives to tell the tale.
Fast-forward once again to 2016 and beyond, ehum, Locklear has had a string of arrests and now infamous mugshots. In 2017, she pleaded out and (the charges were eventually reduced) after a domestic battery incident involving her boyfriend and a police officer.
Locklear is currently being hospitalized for an overdose in Los Angeles, whereas, she is also being treated for psychological issues. Locklear’s family refused to comment for the sake of this story.
