Over the fact that she is now a reported sauce-heiress. According to reports, Trump ‘s family has long invested in and owned nearly half Rao’s Red Sauce. The New York Post notes that after years of legal battles; disputes, and a few other issues — the sauce was sold to a big firm in 2017 for $415m.
The Post managed to uncover the fact that Trump ‘s late father Charles Haydon, was, in fact a close friend of the sauces’ original founders. This, ehum, perhaps was one of the grounding reasons for the sudden divorce. Vanessa filed for divorce back in March, citing differences and issues that could not be formally resolved.
The Post was also able to confirm the news with Vanessa’s mother, who, had previously bought a particular 5th Avenue Penthouse in cash for a cold-hard $6.4m.
Late last month, Donald Trump Jr filed a demand in Manhattan’s Supreme Court to attempt to order Vanessa to turn over her bank statements. Although, we’re pretty sure that won’t happen.
