Report: Michael Cohen suspected of campaign finance violations

WASHINGTON, D.C — Big news in Washington today, ehum, as federal authorities are combing over hundreds of documents and communications seized from the home of Michael Cohen.  According to The Washington Post,  sources confirmed that Michael Cohen is suspected of bank; wire, and  international finance fraud. On top of that, he is also suspected of multiple felony campaign finance laws —  some of which  is already spelling doom for President Trump.

Sources told the Post that documents and communications (including tax returns; communications with the President, and information regarding the payment to Stormy Daniels) were all seized during the  secret raids on Cohen’s residence(s).    As we reported yesterday,  the raids were ordered by Robert Mueller who referred a search warrant to federal court.

Donald Trump, however, has spent his time on Twitter lashing out at his own FBI over raiding the offices of Cohen.   Cohen, is looking at hefty penalties and at least 10 years in prison  if found guilty of even one of the crimes he’s accused of.
