WASHINGTON —   Interesting developments in the Trump v Mueller case.   According to a lengthy  article out in the New York Times today,  Mueller is “fully aware that Trump  is indeed going to each and every witness asking what was discussed and about whom during their interviews with the Special Counsel”.

This is where it gets interesting.  The  Times notes that one particular interview is catching heat, and actually, controversy.  The interview regarding Don McGahn is specifically in the news, because,   a previously published New York Times article claimed that Trump had ordered McGahn to attempt to have Mueller fired “or else”.

The initial interview, perhaps,  didn’t go the way Trump had apparently planned.  The Times also notes that McGahn “refused to deny  that Trump had asked him to contact Rod Rosenstein in an attempt to ensure that  Mueller was dismissed”.   Legal experts aren’t really sure if this constitutes witness tampering, although, experts do say Trump is treading in very dangerous waters at this point.
