The Queen has given her formal consent for Prince Harry to marry

It looks like the royal wedding is in full gear now. According to Buckingham Palace,    The Queen has given and provided her traditional   consent for members of the royal family to marry.    Which means, that, the May wedding of Prince Harry and Princess Meghan will happen as scheduled.

Members of the media from around the world are expected to gather in London, as, the two marry in what will be the final of two weddings of the current and eldest male grandchildren who are in line to the throne.    The announcement came in the form of a letter to the Privy Council,  who, received it shortly after the wee hours of this morning.

In the letter, just like she did for Prince William and the Duchess,   she provided her consent and  safeguarded Harry’s chances at ascending to the throne if he were to ever receive the chance.   Members of the royal family (the Top 6) must all receive the Queen’s consent before marrying, otherwise, they forfeit their right to ascend to the throne indefinitely.
