There’s trouble brewing for Bitcoin. According to lawsuit documents obtained by multiple outlets Wednesday, Now, whether or not he actually fully invented it, Craig Wright ‘s involvement in Bitcoin period can’t be challenged.
This is where it gets interesting. The family of Dave Kleiman claims that Wright “went from pioneer” to thief after Kleiman’s 2013 death. Lawsuit documents show that Kleiman’s family claims that the two had founded a bitcoin mining-like firm in the months before his death. At the time, they allege that Kleiman owned between 550,000 – 1,000,000 bitcoins in total by the time he actually died.
Kleiman’s family filed a total of three lawsuits, to, the tune of a whopping $10 billion. Wright’s family did not respond to requests for comment from The Daily News.
