Big news in the world of dog-food today. A D.C TV station went undercover to buy massive amounts of dog-food particularly owned by Jim Smucker and Co. And as a result, discovered that nearly 60% of the said dog-food contained euthanasia drugs.
After the tests conducted by the WJLA station in D.C, Gravy Train, Kibble ‘N Bits, Skippy, and Ol’ Roy wet food have all been recalled from shelves across the country.
Gravy Train is made by Smucker Co.’s Big Heart Pet Brands, which also makes Meow Mix, 9Lives, and Pounce pet edibles. In all WJLA tested about two dozen other kinds of dog-food, and, found no traces of such drugs from competing brands.
