Hours after Bank of America suddenly flipped a big-bitch on its on account requirements and minimum balance rules, the bank, released a study that certainly seems a bit odd. In the study (see here), it claims that 16% of young people have at least six figures saved in their accounts.
Now maybe, ehum, we’re stuck in a space time vortex or something — but we’re pretty sure no average 22 year old has 600,000 saved in their bank account by no means. In other news, it is now $12 to have a checking account at Bank of America as they have removed the no-balance checking accounts usually meant for low-income earners.
