Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos ‘s is a man with super deep pockets. According to The Washington Post, Bezos’ and his wife have made a $33m donation to Dreamers and the foundation(s) in which support them. The donation will reportedly send 1k Dreamers to college to achieve their biggest goal: graduating college.
The Post notes that each immigrant child will receive $33,000 towards their college education of their choosing. In his reasoning behind the now largest-ever donation to DACA recipients, Bezos’, credited his father who arrived in the U.S at the age of 16 from Cuba.
Meanwhile, the fate of DACA recipients remains unknown as Trump continues to play wishy-washy with their futures in hopes Democrats will cave to build his racist wall.
