The confirmation came from Apple directly, after, social media users began to circulate and claim that cell phones (the older versions of Apple’s iPhone devices) were intentionally slowed by means of a secret program. On Friday, lawsuits were filed in cities like Chicago and Los Angeles by multiple users who say they were duped into buying pricier phones — something they never would have done had Apple been honest from the jump.
Ehum, Apple, claims that the problem came because the batteries found in allot of their phones slow down over time because they’re no good. The problem? Apple never told that to its customer base, and, instead launched a secret update to mobile devices across the world. An update, that, would eventually slow down older phones in favor of newer phones.
