After more than 10 years, the New York Soho Hotel branded under Trump ‘s name is preparing to be reportedly sold. According to the New York Times, the Trump Soho Hotel which has been roughly plagued by numerous issues over the years — will be sold entirely by the end of the year. In that sale, the Trump family will be allowed to distance themselves from the hotel entirely.
Interestingly, the Times discovered that Robert Mueller has since launched an investigation into the hotel about possible and highly potential interference between the hotel and Russian officials. The hotel will apparently be sold to California based group CIM.
The hotel first took a turn for the financial worse when celebrities of all kinds including Khane himself have refused to stay or host major parties in the hotel. Famously, Lebron James rejected calls to stay in the hotel while in New York City. As of this writing, the hotel remains under investigation.
